New pricing: free up to 100 items, then €190 a year
Until now the price depended on the size of the university: €300, €600 or €900 a year, tiered by the number of enrolled students. We have dropped that model.
Why it stopped working
Three reasons, in order of importance:
- It could not be verified. Classification was on trust. That is a likeable principle and a useless basis for billing.
- It forced a conversation. Anyone who wanted to pay first had to establish which bracket they fell into. For an amount this size that is too much friction — on both sides.
- It no longer made sense. CampusVerleih has long since stopped being used only by universities. A school, an association or a company does not have a "student count".
What replaces it
Exactly one thing is metered: the number of items.
- Free — up to 100 items, every lending workflow, QR labels, CSV import, unlimited users and loans. No credit card, no contract.
- Pro — €190 / year — unlimited items, item photos, your own logo, your own domain, payment by invoice.
- Institution — €490 / year — several instances under one contract, DPA and procurement documents, one invoice with your PO number.
No per-user pricing. No per-loan pricing. No tiering by the size of your organisation.
A 30-day trial, at the right moment
Most trials start at sign-up and expire unused while you are still deciding whether to use the thing at all.
Ours you start yourself, when you hit the item limit — by which point you have already catalogued your inventory and actually know whether the system fits. 30 days of Pro, no credit card, no sales call. And nothing is lost: your inventory stays exactly as you built it.
If you are already with us
Existing instances were migrated automatically. Anyone previously on one of the size brackets pays the new, lower price from their next renewal — there is nothing to do.
